1 Killed in Taft Pedestrian Accident at 4th Street and Kern Street
TAFT, CA (July 24, 2019) – A person died in a pedestrian accident at 4th Street and Kern Street early Tuesday morning.
Authorities said reports came in at about 5:30 a.m. about a vehicle hitting a pedestrian at the intersection. Medical aid was dispatched. However, paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The Taft Police closed the intersection of 4th Street and Kern Street as they processed the scene of the crash. They have not released the name of the victim. Further investigation is underway.
