1 Person Dead in Chula Vista Motorcycle Accident on East Orange Avenue and Max Avenue
CHULA VISTA, CA (April 17, 2025) – Wednesday afternoon, a fatal motorcycle crash on East Orange Avenue and Max Avenue killed one person.
The incident happened at around 5:37 p.m. at the intersection of East Orange Avenue and Max Avenue.
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, an eastbound blue 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6R struck a black 2023 Audi Q3 that was making a southbound turn from westbound East Orange to Max Avenue.
Moreover, responders pronounced the 47-year-old motorcyclist, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the 34-year-old driver of the Audi and their 1-year-old female passenger to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
Meanwhile, authorities withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
