1 Dead in Las Vegas Motorcycle Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 5, 2019) – A rider died in a motorcycle accident on Maryland Parkway on August 2.
Officers came to Maryland Parkway and Franklin Avenue at around 1:54 a.m. According to some evidence and witnesses, a black-and-red 2007 Yamaha R1 heading north on South Maryland Parkway in the left lane failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle then left the road and hit several cement barriers.
The collision threw off the rider from his bike. As a result, the victim died at the scene.
The crash scene remained closed during the investigation.
Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased will be released after the family has been notified.
Police did not release any additional information regarding details of the accident at this time. However, the authorities are still investigating the collision.
