1 Dead in Garden Grove Pedestrian Accident on Stanford Avenue
GARDEN GROVE, CA (September 3, 2019) – A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Stanford Avenue on September 2.
The Garden Grove police are searching for a BMW driver who hit and killed a man in his 80s. The incident occurred just before 6:00 a.m. on Stanford Avenue and Dale Street.
According to the residents of the area, the man can often be seen walking in the neighborhood.
A surveillance footage revealed that a suspect escaped the scene after hitting the pedestrian. The driver reportedly ran a stop sigh.
The man died at the scene.
