KANSAS CITY, MO (April 2, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a fatal hit-and-run crash on 43rd Street and State Line Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. on 43rd Street and State Line Road.

According to the Kansas Police Department, a construction dump truck struck a male pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced the pedestrian, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, KCKPD confirmed that the driver of the truck fled the scene after the incident.
