Fatality Reported in Rio Vista Auto Accident on Highway 160

 
RIO VISTA, CA (October 7, 2020) – Monday night, a fatal head-on crash occurred on Highway 160 near Helen Madere Memorial Bridge.
 
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 7:20 p.m. The CHP confirmed that it took place a mile north of the Helen Madere Memorial Bridge.
 
Meanwhile, the CHP officers worked together with the Rio Vista Police Department is shutting down traffic on Highway 160 and Highway 12. Also, they blocked the traffic from the other direction along Highway 160 near Isleton.
 
As of this time, the events that have led up to the crash remain unavailable.
 
Thus, the South Sacramento CHP office together with the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office spearheads the crash investigation.
