1 Person Dead in Garland Auto Accident on Garland Avenue and Stratford Drive

GARLAND, TX (February 23, 2025) – Thursday night, a fatal DUI crash on Garland Avenue and Stratford Drive killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Garland Avenue and Stratford Drive.

According to the Garland Police, a southbound vehicle collided with an eastbound vehicle for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash ejected one person into the roadway.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that an 18-year-old died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported a total of five people, aged 16 to 22, to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, officers believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
