OLANCHA, CA (February 14, 2020)—An overturned collision, involving a semi-truck along Highway 395 near Cosco Junction, claimed a person’s life Thursday.
 
According to reports, the deadly incident befell around 2 p.m. when a car flipped over in the center divider after trying to pull up in front of a tractor-trailer.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived to perform CPR on one of the victims; however, despite life-saving attempts, the person died.
 
A second victim—an occupant of the passenger vehicle—seemed conscious when attended by paramedics, but suffered unknown injuries. Regarding the tractor-trailer driver, reports did not indicate whether he or she sustained any injuries.
 
The accident on Highway 395 caused a significant traffic jam as authorities closed off the section while gathering evidence.
