Houston, TX (October 25, 2024) – Early Friday morning, Houston Police are investigating a fatal crash on Eastex Freeway.

According to Houston Police, the crash occurred after 3 a.m. Friday in the southbound lanes, involving two vehicles. By 5:30 a.m., traffic backed up all the way to Laura Koppe.

While the feeder road for the Eastex Freeway remains open, drivers are advised to take the Hardy Toll Road instead.
