1 Dead and 3 Injured in Reno Car Collision
RENO, NV (July 29, 2019) – A person died while three others suffered injuries in a car collision on north Virginia Street on July 26.
The incident happened about 4:00 p.m. on North Virginia Street and Lovitt Lane. According to reports, two cars crashed and sent four people to the hospital.
However, the driver later died due to his critical injuries. The identity of the deceased remains unreleased as of this time due to the pending family notification.
In addition, the driver of the second stayed at the scene and helped with the police.
Authorities did not believe that speed or impairment contributed to the collision. However, the Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating.
According to reports, police stated North Virginia Street shut down in both directions between Parr Boulevard and Bailey Drive. However, the closed roads reopened shortly after.
