1 Killed and 1 Injured in Las Vegas Car Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 1, 2019) – A driver died while another sustained injuries in a car accident on Cimarron Road on July 30.
The 57-year-old Las Vegas male driver of a 2005 Ford Expedition died at the scene. Meanwhile, the 36-year-old female driver of a 2018 Mazda CX-9 went to at University Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. on North Cimarron Road and West Alexander Avenue. According to reports, a northbound Ford on Cimarron Road ran a red light at Alexander Avenue and collided with the Mazda.
The Mazda driver did not exhibit any signs of impairment.
Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased remains unknown due to a pending family notification.
