1 Dead in Las Vegas Bicycle Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 26, 2019) – A person died in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Warm Springs Road on September 25.
Officers received reports of the crash at about 3:00 a.m. on Warm Springs Road just west of Tenaya Way, Lt. David Gordon with LVMPD revealed.
The police believe that the incident occurred sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., Gordon added.
The 33-year-old male bicyclist from Bremerton died at the scene.
Authorities located a possible suspect vehicle, a 2006 Toyota Avalon, left in the desert near Fort Apache Road and Warm Springs roads.
The car suffered damages consistent with being involved in a crash.
The investigators are still working on identifying the suspect driver.
