Rider Airlifted after Crash with Pickup Truck in Fairfield

 
FAIRFIELD, CA (May 4, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic collision Saturday afternoon in Fairfield.
 
The collision happened around 2:34 p.m. at Suisun Valley Road and Joyce Lane, just near Glashoff Farms.
 
CHP officials said a 2018 Harley-Davidson Roadster motorcycle and a pickup truck collided for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, the rider suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center. The condition of the victim was not immediately available.
 
The pickup truck sustained major front-end damage upon impact.
 
It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. The full circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.
