1 Dead in Monterey Park Bicycle Crash near Crest Vista Drive

 
MONTEREY PARK, CA (July 7, 2020) – Early Monday night, 17-year-old Ernesto Manzano Jr. died in a bicycle accident near Crest Vista Drive.
 
According to reports, at around 6:40 p.m., Ernesto Manzano Jr. rode his bike against traffic. He traveled down a hill near Crest Vista Drive and Windover Way.
 
Unfortunately, he crashed “head-on” with a northbound vehicle, said the Monterey Park Police Department.
 
The bicyclist from Los Angeles succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the crash scene and cooperated with the police. Moreover, the police ruled out drugs or alcohol as a factor in the fatal crash.
