Ernest Trejo Identified as Pedestrian Killed in Crash on 7th Street [Victorville, CA]

68-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on 7th Street near Lacy Street

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 3, 2019) – Authorities identified 68-year-old Ernest Trejo of Victorville as the pedestrian killed in a crash on 7th Street, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the Victorville Sheriff’s Station, the incident happened at about 9:30 PM. Trejo attempted to cross the roadway near Lacy Street. There, a southbound 2014 Chevy Malibu hit him in the no. 2 lane.
 
Emergency responders rushed Trejo to a local hospital with serious injuries. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead. Two other people crossing with the pedestrian did not sustain injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators.
