Erick Favela Dead in San Bernardino Accident on Del Rosa Avenue and Eureka Street

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 23, 2021) – Sunday night, Erick Favela, 23, died in a head-on crash on Del Rosa Avenue and Eureka Street.
 
At around 7:45 p.m., a 2013 Jeep Wrangler stopped northbound on Del Rosa Avenue. Meanwhile, a southbound 2000 Toyota Camry traveled on Dela Rosa Avenue at an unknown speed.
 
As the Toyota driver approached the northbound lane, the vehicle crashed head-on with the Jeep on Eureka Street East and Dela Rosa Avenue.
 
As a result, responders took the Toyota driver to a local hospital with major injuries. However, Favela later succumbed to his injuries.
 
At this time, the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office said Erick Favela was a San Bernardino resident.
 
Meanwhile, authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to call Officer A. Reyes at the San Bernardino CHP Office at 909-383-4247.
