Andrew Vasquez Arrested in Redlands DUI Crash That Left Motorcyclist Eric Figueroa Dead

 
Redlands, CA (November 22, 2020) – On Saturday, 38-year-old Redlands motorcyclist Eric Figueroa died and police arrested 27-year-old Andrew Vasquez in a DUI crash on Judson Street.
 
The fatal Redlands crash happened at about 6:30 p.m., south of Laramie Avenue.
 
Figueroa was traveling north in the 400 block area. At the same time, Vasquez was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima pulled away from the curb and made a U-turn in front of the motorcycle.
 
As a result, Vasquez struck the Figueroa who got trapped under the vehicle.
 
Immediately, Redlands firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
 
They treated Figueroa at the scene. Then, they transported him to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
 
Meanwhile, authorities arrested Vasquez on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and vehicular homicide.
