Driver Hospitalized in Fiery Accident on Hillcroft Street

Houston, TX (February 8, 2023) – On Tuesday, a pursuit that ended in a vehicle crash on Elm Street sent an innocent driver to the hospital.

HPD says that the fiery accident happened near Hillcroft Street. Authorities say that the chase started  in the 6000 block of the Southwest Freeway, near Fountain View Drive. 

Reports say that officials were chasing a burglary suspect. Moreover, the suspect driver caused another driver crash out near an apartment complex on Westward Street and Gulfton Street. 

Afterward, the suspect driver attempted to flee on foot, however officers apprehended the suspect and took him into custody.

Authorities are investigating the fiery accident and have not released additional information at this time.
