Elizabeth Roberts Remains Hospitalized Following Interstate 215 Accident in Hemet

 
Hemet, CA (December 31, 2020) – Early Thursday morning, Elizabeth Roberts, 55, sustained injuries in a wrong-way head-on crash on Interstate 215.
 
The crash was reported at about 2:40 a.m. near Scott Road.
 
Reportedly, it all started in a police pursuit from Hemet and ended with the suspect driving the wrong way on Interstate 215, crashing head-on into another vehicle in Menifee.
 
Shortly after, the suspect ran from the crash scene into a field, leaving one person injured. It is still unclear if police found the suspect.
 
The victim was then transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, lanes of the freeway were blocked until about 5 a.m.
 
Later reports claim that as of January 9, Ms. Roberts, of Lake Elsinore, remains at Wildomar’s Inland Valley Medical Center.
 
As of the 12th of January, the suspect driver remains at large. Hemet police continue to seek leads in the case.
