1 Person Dead in Arlington Auto Accident on State Highway 360

ARLINGTON, TX (August 28, 2023) – Sunday morning, authorities arrested Elias Guzman Aranada following a fatal hit-and-run crash on State Highway 360.

The incident happened at around 5:15 a.m. at 3600 block of State Highway 360.

According to the Arlington Police, a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado struck a 2012 Toyota Yaris that stalled in the outside lane of the highway. Then, the force of the crash ejected the Toyota driver into the roadway. Also, the Chevrolet fled the scene after the crash without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 33-year-old driver of the Toyota, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, an off-duty police managed to follow the hit-and-run driver, leading to the arrest of the suspect. Then, Arlington police arrested the driver of the Chevrolet, Aranada for intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and failure to stop and render aid.
