EDCOUCH, TX (January 26, 2023) – On Wednesday, Elias Galaves and two others died in a traffic crash on FM 1015 and Monte Christo Road.
 
The incident happened on FM 1015 along Monte Christo Road.
 
According to Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Maria Montalvo, a white Chevrolet Silverado failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a Peterbilt truck tractor-trailer.
 
Moreover, officers confirmed that three occupants of the Chevrolet, 26-year-old Elias Galaves, 42-year-old Gerardo Ibarra, and 22-year-old Axel Jimenez died in the crash. Then, passengers transported the Chevrolet driver, to a local hospital in stable condition.
 
Meanwhile, the circumstances involved in the crash remained under investigation.
