Vehicle and Pedestrian Involved in Fatal Collision near Beach Boulevard

 
WESTMINSTER, CA (February 9, 2020) – The authorities confirmed that an elderly woman was killed in a pedestrian crash on McFadden Avenue on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Beach Boulevard at approximately 6:50 PM. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
 
Reports showed that the woman was struck by an unidentified vehicle at the intersection. However, the events leading up are currently unclear.
 
When paramedics arrived, they reported that the victim was suffering from life-threatening injuries. However, she was later pronounced deceased on scene.
 
The driver of the vehicle also remained on the scene and cooperated with the police. No further information was provided. However, an investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
