Female Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Accident near Pinto Drive in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (April 16, 2020) – Thursday morning, an elderly woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision near Rancho Drive.
Las Vegas Police Officials first received reports of the hit-and-run crash around 9:50 a.m. Dispatchers arrived at 501 S. Rancho parking area near Pinto Drive, shortly after.
The events leading up to the accident remain unclear. However, one elderly woman suffered serious injuries as a result of the impact.
She was later taken to the nearby University Medical Center Trauma for further treatment. There has been no update on her current condition.
Police have yet to locate the drivers responsible for fatally striking the elderly woman.
An investigation to determine further information remains ongoing. Once available, more details will be given. In addition, authorities ask that anyone with information on the drivers contact them immediately.
A temporary road closure was not executed, as the incident took place at the parking lot near Rancho Drive.
