Elderly Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Red Hill Avenue [Tustin, CA]

Fatal Vehicle and Pedestrian Accident near San Juan Street

 
TUSTIN, CA (February 4, 2020) – An elderly man killed in a pedestrian crash on Red Hill Avenue on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened just south of San Juan Street before 6:20 AM.
 
Reports showed that the victim was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by a blue Toyota SUV.
 
The victim, whose identity was not yet released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Drugs or alcohol did not play a role in the crash.
