1 Hospitalized after Los Angeles Pedestrian Crash

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 10, 2020) – An elderly sustained injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Burlington Avenue early on February 7.
 
Authorities are currently searching for the driver that struck the 92-year-old man.
 
The crash happened at around 7:50 a.m. in the 800 block of Burlington Avenue. More specifically, between 8th Street and James M. Woods Boulevard.
 
LAPD Detective Moses Castillo then reported that it was a car which backed into the elderly victim. Meanwhile, first responders took the pedestrian to a hospital in stable condition after the accident.
 
Later in the day, a construction worker stated he informed the driver that he had hit someone. However, the driver fled the scene.
 
Authorities described the vehicle as a black 2004 Honda Accord with a California license plate of 6KXU181. The driver is a Latino man between 18 and 25 years old.
 
The registration information of the vehicle’s owner is said to be outdated.
 
Authorities urge anyone with information on the pedestrian accident on Burlington to contact the Los Angeles Police Department at 877-527-3247.
