Edmond Jones Killed after Reno Motorcycle Accident on Geiger Grade Road
RENO, NV (October 2, 2019) – The Nevada Highway Patrol identified Edmond Jones as the motorcyclist killed on aturday, September 28.
The incident happened around 12:25 p.m., 2019 on Geiger Grade Road near Calavaras Road.
NHP told a local news source that 34-year-old Edmond Jones, of Reno moved southbound around a curve. Then he crossed into the northbound travel lane and struck a Kia Sorento SUV.
The impact ejected Jones from his 2009 Ducati motorcycle. First responders rushed him to a hospital via Care Flight and later pronounced him dead.
The other driver remained at the crash site and cooperated with the investigation. That person did not sustain injuries in the collision.
