Kirksville, MO (April 17, 2025) – 71-year-old Earl Kull of Hurdland, sustained minor injuries Wednesday afternoon after a school bus crash on Baltimore Street.

According to authorities, a car fails to yield and collides with a school bus around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Baltimore Street and Northtown Road.

Reports say that the crash involved a school bus. Authorities say that a westbound passenger car failed to yield and collided with a southbound school bus transporting five preschoolers.

The bus driver, Kull, and the car driver identified as, 87-year-old Beatrice Fugate of Downing, both sustained minor injuries but declined medical transport.

All five preschool children aboard the bus were unharmed, and police confirmed they were secured in harnesses during the crash.
