Dylan Cervantes Killed in Collision with Heavy Equipment on Lower Lake Road [Crescent City, CA]

18-Year-Old Man Identified as Man Killed in Crash near Mud Hen Village Road

 
CRESCENT CITY, CA (July 9, 2019) – Authorities identified 18-year-old Dylan Manuel Cervantes of Crescent City as the man killed in a collision near Mud Hen Village Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 9:05 PM. The victim’s vehicle was northbound on Lower Lake Road when it failed to avoid an unoccupied John Deere Loader that was partially blocking the lane.
 
Emergency responders pronounced Cervantes dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported by the authorities.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash. Authorities will release additional information to the public once it becomes available.
