Sabrinia Thompson Injured in Fatal Solo-Car Crash on CR-173
Midland County, TX (May 28, 2024) Early Sunday morning, 27-year-old Dylan Bellesheim of Odessa died and 31-year-old Sabrinia Ann Thompson of Andrews was hurt in a tragic crash on CR-1210.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the fatal solo-car crash happened at about 2:04 a.m. at the intersection of CR-1210 and CR-173.
Reports say that Thompson was driving a westbound vehicle that veered off the road while attempting a turn near CR-1210.
Authorities say that the vehicle failed to maintain a single lane, and it caused the vehicle to veer off the road. Officials say that the vehicle rolled several times and ultimately crashed into a pole, then burst into flames.
DPS pronounced Bellesheim a passenger in the vehicle, dead at the scene, while Thompson suffered minor injuries and was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital.
Authorities are investigating the probable cause of the fatal collision.
