Dump Truck Overturns in Accident on Kanan Road [Agoura Hills, CA]

Lanes Closed after Multi-Car Collision near Silver Creek Road

 
AGOURA HILLS, CA (March 12, 2019) – A dump truck overturned in an accident on Kanan Road near the intersection of Silver Creek Road on Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to CHP, the crash happened around 3:47 PM Silver Creek Road. Based on an initial report, the truck landed on its wheels after flipping. In addition, no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. However, there has been no report regarding any injury sustained by the driver of the truck.
 
A SigAlert was issued to close the lanes for about 30 minutes while rescue, clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident to help identify the possible contributing factors. Additional information has yet to be released.
