1 Injured in Las Vegas Car Accident on Tenaya Way
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 24, 2020) – Drug overdose possibly caused a two-car crash on Tenaya Way in the central valley on May 20.
Metropolitan Police Lt. Frank Humel revealed that the two-car crash happened on N. Tenaya Way and Smoke Ranch Road.
According to Humel, they suspect one driver of suffering from a drug overdose.
Responders transported the said driver to an area hospital. Meanwhile, the other driver stayed at the scene and didn’t show signs of impairment.
Moreover, the paramedics took a passenger to a hospital with minor injuries.
Road Closures and Pending Investigations
Due to the crash, the authorities partially shut down Tenaya Way and Smoke Ranch Road intersection while Metro’s traffic bureau investigates.
