Troopers Charge Pasco Driver With Negligent Driving Causing Injury in Pasco Crash

Pasco, WA (July 16, 2021) – On Wednesday, an Othello female driver and a Pasco male driver sustained injuries in State Route 395 crash.

The traffic accident happened at 11:39 a.m. in Franklin County.

A 50-year-old driver from Pasco in his 2020 Chevy Silverado was eastbound on Foster Wells Road approaching State Route 395.

At the same time, a 51-year-old Othello driver in her 2016 Honda HR-V was northbound on State Route 395.

The Pasco driver attempted to cross the freeway and crashed with the Othello woman’s car.

Both of the driver sustained injuries, and their vehicles were totaled in the crash.

Subsequently, responders rushed the Pasco driver to the Lourdes Medical Center while they took the Othello driver to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

Moreover, troopers believe that inattention on the Pasco driver’s end caused the crash. Therefore, they charged him with negligent driving to the second degree for the accident. Officers said impairment from drugs/alcohol was not a factor in State Route 395 crash.
