Drivers Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on Custer Road [Plano, TX]

Plano, TX (March 27, 2023) – On March 25, drivers sustained injuries following a 2-vehicle collision on Custer Road.

Investigating officers said, a McLaren sports car was southbound on Custer Road. At the same time, an SUV drove out of a parking lot on the west side of the road. 

The car hit the SUV at a high rate of speed and the SUV flipped onto its roof. The sports car rested against a tree on the west side of the roadway.

The Plano Fire Department took both occupants to a hospital.  The sports car driver sustained two broken legs and chest injuries. Officers said both drivers are expected to survive.

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating the McDermott Road traffic collision.
