Two Drivers Seriously Injured in Vehicle Crash on State Route 94

 
Jamul, CA (March 05, 2021) – On Thursday, two drivers were injured in a head-on crash on State Route 94.
 
The crash took place shortly before 5:30 a.m. south of Vista Sage Lane.
 
A 20-year-old Chula Vista man was traveling westbound in a 1999 Honda Civic when he crossed into the eastbound lane.
 
Just then, the Honda crashed head-on into a 2017 Subaru WRX driven by a 22-year-old San Diego man.
 
Unfortunately, both vehicles suffered severe front-end damage. The Honda’s engine was ejected due to the force of the crash.
 
Right away, rescuers took both of the drivers to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego for incurring serious but non-fatal injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officers do not consider alcohol as a factor in the crash.
