Driver Sucha Singh Injured in Fatal Crash on Highway 287 [Wise County, TX]

Wise County, TX (June 29, 2024) – Sucha Singh, 42, of Bakersfield, California, was injured in a fatal vehicle crash on Highway 287 early Thursday morning.

The deadly collision happened at 3:48 a.m. near the Wise and Montague county line.

Officers said a southbound 2021 Freightliner driven by Singh was towing a trailer when it overturned and blocked the southbound lanes. 

Suddenly, a pickup truck driven by Logan Ray Churchwell, 33, of Iowa Park, struck the trailer.

Troopers declared Logan Ray Churchwell dead at the crash scene while Sucha Singh incurred minor injuries. 

Officers are investigating.
