Traffic Collision on Valencia Boulevard and Goldcrest Drive in Santa Clarita

 
Santa Clarita, CA [April 19, 2020) – Wednesday night, an unidentified driver struck a fire hydrant and knocked down a light pole in traffic collision on Valencia Boulevard.
 
Dispatchers received reports of the three-vehicle crash around 6:15 p.m., on April 15.
 
Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman of the Los Angeles County Fire Department said it occurred at the intersection of Valencia Boulevard and Goldcrest Drive.
 
According to police, a silver SUV crashed into a light pole for unknown reasons. The pole then fell on top of the vehicle and landed in the driveway entrance sign of a nearby apartment.
 
Furthermore, Pittman reported that there were no victims hospitalized as a result of the collision.
 
The sheriff’s deputies shut the roadway down for the meantime as the crews fixed the pole. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
 
No further information on the crash of the light pole on Valencia Boulevard has been released at this time.
