2 Dead in Palmdale Rollover Accident on Division Street and Avenue Q

 
PALMDALE, CA (September 14, 2021) – Sunday morning, a driver and a passenger died in a single-vehicle crash on Division Street and Avenue Q.
 
The incident occurred at about 2:45 a.m. on Division Street and Avenue Q.
 
According to reports, the female driver of a gray 2006 Southern Ion traveled west on Avenue Q “at a high rate of speed.” Then, she lost control of the vehicle and it struck a dirt berm and overturned.
 
Some witnesses topped and assisted the occupants and called emergency services. Then, the Los Angeles County Fire Department came to the scene. After providing medical attention to the patients, they took both of them to the hospital. However, both of them succumbed to their injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the victim due to pending family notification.
 
“There is an open investigation to determine if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision,” said the sheriff’s news release.
 
Also, the authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to call Palmdale Sheriff’s Station Detective Liz Sherman at 661-272-2400.
