Driver and Passenger Hospitalized after Accident on La Lima Way [Natomas, CA]

2 Injured in Natomas Crash on La Lima Way

 
NATOMAS, CA (October 28, 2020) – On Monday, a driver and a passenger suffered injuries after an accident on La Lima Way.
 
According to Terry Daffin who was in his home office on La Lima Way, he noticed a loud crash outside his house.
 
“I heard it and I knew what it was. A car had come down this levee,” Daffin revealed. “I was basically first on the scene. Just ran over, tried to see if I could help people, get passengers out,” Daffin added.
 
“I see a car in the middle of the center lane and then I just see (the driver) flying off of the road,” Edward Lankin, an eyewitness revealed.
 
Reports revealed that Daffin managed to free the passenger from the vehicle. However, it was the first responders who pulled out the driver from the wreckage.
 
The Sacramento Police confirmed that they transported the driver and passenger to a local hospital. Moreover, both patients were listed in critical condition.
 
The crash on La Lima Way remains under active investigation.
