Man Dead after Vehicle Hits Wall near East Mendocino Street
ALTADENA, CA (October 13, 2018) – A man was killed Saturday morning following a solo-vehicle crash on North Holliston Avenue. The identity of the deceased victim is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 9:45 AM near East Mendocino Street. For unknown reasons, a vehicle slammed into a wall in the area.
The driver of the unidentified car suffered critical injuries and was transported to the Huntington Memorial Hospital for treatment and medical evaluation. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical staff. No other injuries were reported by the authorities.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the fatal crash and to identify possible contributing factors. No further details have been provided to the public at this time.
