1 Hurt in Anaheim Fatal Auto Accident on Beach Boulevard

 
ANAHEIM, CA (October 5, 2020) – Sunday night, a driver died and a passenger suffered injuries in a solo crash on Beach Boulevard.
 
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near Beach Boulevard and Stonybrook Drive intersection. Anaheim police Sgt. Shane Carringer revealed that the crash closed all northbound lanes of Beach from Ball Road to Orange Avenue.
 
“The vehicle hit a power pole at a high rate of speed that split the vehicle in half,” Carringer revealed. “The driver died at the scene and his passenger was critically injured and transported to a local hospital.”
 
As of this time, the police haven’t determined whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
 
Furthermore, the authorities are withholding the identity of the driver due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, the officers haven’t disclosed the reopening of the roads.
 
Also, the crash on Beach Boulevard remains under active investigation.
