SUV Overturns on Highway 247 in Lucerne Valley Killing the Driver

 
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (December 14, 2019) – A driver was killed in a car accident Saturday morning in Lucerne Valley.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:51 a.m. on Highway 247, also known as Old Woman Springs Road, at Lincoln Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue Dodge Durango had overturned and landed on its roof. Firefighters pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
 
Friends familiar with the incident told investigators the driver killed was a Lucerne Valley man who was on his way to work and just a few weeks away from celebrating his 29th birthday.
 
CHP is investigating the crash and additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
