DINUBA, CA (April 24, 2025) – Tuesday night, a female driver died in a devastating auto accident on Road 96 and Avenue 412.

The incident occurred at about 7:15 p.m. on Road 96 and Avenue 412 near Dinuba.

A woman driving a KIA SUV died after failing to stop at a posted stop sign on northbound Road 96 and crashing into a Chevrolet pickup traveling westbound on Avenue 412, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The Chevrolet, which had no stop sign, overturned from the impact. The KIA driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the Chevrolet sustained major injuries.

CHP said alcohol and drugs are not suspected. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
