HESPERIA, CA (January 8, 2022) – Friday morning, a driver died in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 138 near Summit Post Office Road.
 
The incident occurred at around 8:43 a.m. on State Route 138 near Summit Post Office Road.
 
Upon the First Responders’ arrival, they found a beige vehicle on its side. They also located a white KIA Optima with major damage in a turnout shoulder on the westbound lanes of Highway 138.
 
Then, they declared the Honda driver dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance transported the driver of the other vehicle to the hospital.
 
Moreover, the crash didn’t lead to any road closures.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
 
Due to the limited information available, the CHP continues to investigate the crash.
