Danny Estrada Arrested After DUI Crash on Highway 41 in Fresno

Fresno, CA (November 22, 2024) – Authorities arrested a Hollister man in a wrong way crash on Highway 41 while allegedly being four times over the legal alcohol limit, causing a crash in Fresno County.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the incident occurred on Highway 41 and South Avenue near Easton around 3 p.m. on Thursday. 

Officials identified the driver as 50-year-old Danny Estrada.

A sheriff’s deputy witnessed Estrada driving the wrong way on the highway and attempted to overtake him to warn oncoming traffic. 

However, before the deputy could stop him, Estrada collided with another vehicle, injuring both himself and the other driver.

According to CHP, Estrada is a repeat DUI offender. 

Authorities arrested him and booked him into the Fresno County Jail.
