LONG BEACH, CA (June 21, 2020) – Early Friday afternoon, a person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Myrtle Avenue.
 
The incident involved a Subaru and a garbage truck. Moreover, it happened around 12:48 p.m. in the 6500 block of Myrtle Avenue, near Freshwater Corners. Also, a video revealed that an elderly female driver of a Subaru Crosstrek rear-ended a garbage truck.
 
Initially, the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page confirmed that the Subaru driver sustained a possible injury. Accordingly, the person suffered injury to the legs and required extrication. However, the Incident Commander there was no need for extrication.
 
Furthermore, the police dispatched an ambulance.
