Merced, CA (July 24, 2021) – On Friday, a 37-year-old Bakersfield man suffered serious injuries in Interstate 5 fiery vehicle crash.

At about 7:12 p.m., the victim was driving a northbound 2016 Volvo semi-truck when he rear-ended two other semi-trucks that was stopped for traffic in the area of Stuhr Road. 

The Volvo became fully engulfed in fire as a result of the crash.
