Driver Suffers Major Injury in Semi-Truck Crash in Chiriaco Summit

 
Chiriaco Summit, CA (June 17, 2021) – On Thursday, a sedan driver was injured in Interstate 10 big rig crash.
 
The accident took place at about 7:10 a.m. about 25 miles east of Indio.
 
Apparently, a trucker was driving at full speed hauling 13,000 pounds of cargo when the rig hit the sedan.
 
Meanwhile, the car’s driver was unconscious when emergency personnel arrived.
 
Rescuers said the driver incurred major injuries in the accident.
 
It was not immediately clear if the semi-truck driver was injured.
