Unidentified Person Hurt in De Luz Car Accident on Carancho Road

 
DE LUZ, CA (June 9, 2020) – Early Friday morning, a driver sustained injuries in a fiery rollover crash on Carancho Road in De Luz.
 
The single-vehicle crash occurred about 6:40 a.m. on Carancho Road near De Luz Road. The incident occurred west of Temecula and northeast of De Luz, Cal Fire San Diego Capt. Thomas Shoots revealed.
 
Shoots added that a vehicle drove off the road and rolled over. The crash led to a brush fire that grew to about 50 feet before the firefighters arrived.
 
Fortunately, the driver managed to get off the vehicle. Afterward, another motorist saw the crash and aided to the victim. After moving the injured driver a short distance from the crash, the witness reported the incident to 911.
 
When the crews from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived, they located the victim and the concerned motorist. They treated the driver at the scene.

Moreover, the authorities requested an air ambulance. However, the helicopter failed to respond due to weather conditions. Then, a ground ambulance transported the victim to Palomar Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
