Chrysler Driver Injured in Fatal Collision on Cavazos Road [Brownsville, TX]

Brownsville, CA (December 23, 2023) – A male Chrysler driver was injured following a fatal collision on Cavazos Road Thursday morning.

It was about 5:32 a.m. when a man driving a northbound gray Chevrolet Spark on Cavazos Road approached FM 3248.

As the vehicle neared the intersection, the Chevrolet driver failed to yield the right-of-way to a man driving an eastbound blue Chrysler 300 on FM 3248.

Unfortunately, the Chevrolet driver died at the crash scene. The authorities withheld his identity pending notification of next of kin.

The Chrysler driver was rushed to Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville with non-life-threatening injuries. 

DPS is investigating this fatal collision.
