Houston DUI Crash Kills Driver
Houston, TX (February 27, 2023) – On Sunday, a Dodge Avenger driver sustained injuries in a fatal 2-vehicle collision on West Airport Boulevard.
The fatal collision happened at around 7:35 a.m. near the 3400 block area.
According to Houston Police, a green KIA Forte was traveling at a high rate of speed when it jumped over the median and into oncoming traffic lane where it struck a red Dodge Avenger.
Unfortunately, the KIA driver succumbed to his crash injuries at the crash scene.
Moreover, the paramedics rushed the driver of the red Avenger to the hospital with minor injuries.
HPD officers suspect the KIA driver of intoxication due to several alcoholic beverage bottles and cans they located on the floor of his vehicle.
In the meantime, the authorities are still investigating the fatal traffic collision.
